Warranty, repairs and liability

SportsCover offers a general warranty of twelve (12) months on all its products, with respect to defects in the material or manufacture; this does not apply to wear, improper use or storage or incorrect installation.

SportsCover protective kits made of protective film are guaranteed for two years against yellowing and cracking. This warranty does not include damage such as chips, scrapers, scratches, discoloration, inserts, etc. Caused by installation solutions, installation technology, wear, exposure to chemicals and other liquids and materials or cycling.

All SportsCover safety kits, including bespoke models, may need to be cropped due to the variations in the manufacture of bicycles to which they are intended to be applied. SportsCover does not guarantee that pattern designs are free from design errors that may create a requirement to modify during installation.

Before use, the user must determine the suitability of the product for the required or intended use, and the user assumes all risk and liability associated with it. SportsCover does not guarantee damage caused to your bike during the installation or removal of SportsCover products.

Unless an additional warranty is specifically stated on the applicable SportsCover product packaging or literature, SportsCover warrants that each SportsCover product complies with the applicable SportsCover product specification when SportsCover ships the product. SportsCover makes no other warranties or terms, express or implied.

Warranty for information

Product descriptions, instructions, drawings, illustrations, data, as well as descriptions of weight, size and use or performance, included in our brochures, catalogues, circulars, newsletters, advertisements and price lists, are purely informative in nature. Public announcements, praises or advertisements do not represent a contract term for the goods. SportsCover does not guarantee the accuracy of this information.

SportsCover cannot guarantee that communication of data over the Internet, given the status of current technology, is flawless and always available. SportsCover is not responsible for any link to other web pages or sources that may be created and does not guarantee their availability. SportsCover is not responsible for the content of said links, although there is no evidence that their content is illegal.


During the warranty period, if a defect covered by the warranty is presented, SportsCover will, in its sole discretion, either repair the defect or replace the defective item. Any other request in respect of defective objects, in particular the claim for damages or termination of the contract, is excluded.

Many factors beyond SportsCover's control and unique within the user's knowledge and control can affect the use and performance of a SportsCover product in a particular application. Given the many different factors that can affect the use and performance of a SportsCover product, the user is solely responsible for evaluating the SportsCover product and determining whether it is suitable for a particular purpose.

Except where prohibited by law, SportsCover is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the SportsCover product, whether directly, indirectly, in particular, temporarily or consequentially, regardless of the legal theory stated, including warranty, contract, negligence or strict liability. In the case of jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, in such states or jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Warranty claims

All warranty claims are handled exclusively by SportsCover. Send a request to info@sportscover.se in the event of a requirement or query. 

All warranty claims must be supported by a purchase receipt and the date/place of the installer (if applied). If images are available, please submit these at the time of the claim showing the overall condition (wide angle) of the product and close-ups of the issues. If it is not submitted then SportsCover will request photos to review the issue raised and will not continue a warranty claim without photos.

In its sole discretion, SportsCover may request that the defective product be returned or destroyed to fulfill a warranty claim.
